How to become PI Ambassador
The Physical Internet (PI) Ambassadors community invites exceptional professionals to contribute to the adoption of the Physical Internet. PI Ambassadors are recognised leaders who inspire, promote and accelerate the transition to decarbonised, digital and resilient logistics systems in Europe and beyond.
Becoming a PI Ambassador is about more than just recognition; it’s about joining a community of practice that bridges the gap between research, industry and policy to make the Physical Internet a reality.
Eligibility criteria
We welcome applications from professionals who have:

- Recognised achievements in logistics innovation, sustainability, or digitalisation.
- A proven track record of promoting or implementing Physical Internet concepts and solutions.
- Been awarded by the International Physical Internet Conference (IPIC) community e.g. PI Pioneers, PI Builders, PI start-ups, PI venture awards or any other PI related award.
- Influence and credibility within their ecosystem (academia, industry, or public authorities).
There are no restrictions on geography, affiliation, or sector. Diversity of perspectives is encouraged.
What does the role involve?
PI Ambassadors are expected to:

- Share expertise and raise awareness of PI within their networks.
- Promote standards and protocols supporting the PI Norm.
- Showcase best practices and implementation cases that accelerate the twin transition (green and digital).
- Connect and collaborate with peers across Europe and globally.
- Inspire the next generation of researchers, innovators, and practitioners.
This is an honorary role without financial support, but it carries high visibility and influence across the logistics innovation community.
